    Description

P&O Line - Two deck plans - First and Tourist classes - from 1950 for the popular STRATHEDEN.
Each plan measures 24" by 28" and shows six decks. In First Class passengers enjoyed the center of the ship with large public rooms and plenty of options in cabins. On D Deck one could enjoy a cabin de luxe with a verandah while your fellow voyagers on E Deck made due with Bibby cabins that had long necks reaching towards the light of a porthole.
Tourist Class held a few less passengers and was crammed into the stern area. If you wanted to share a tiny cabin for four down on H Deck, you better be mobile because all the amenities were up, up, and more up. Surprisingly, there is an outdoor Swimming Pool on E Deck next to the Lounge.
The STRATHEDEN sailed with the fleet until 1963 and then moved over to pilgrimage duty until scrapping in 1969.
    Good condition.
