    Description

    Handsome fold-out 1976 Amoco road map of Georgia, printed more than 43 years ago.
    The map opens to 18" x 25½" and has good detail on old highway alignments, with cartography by the National Survey.
    There are inset plans of Atlanta, Augusta, Columbus, and Savannah on the reverse side.
    The map was published in 1976 by the Amoco Oil Company, 200 East Randolph Drive, Chicago, Illinois. Little symbols locate Amoco service stations in the state of Georgia
    The front cover photograph shows the famous Great American Scream Machine, a wooden roller coaster located at Six Flags, west of Atlanta. At the time, it was the tallest, longest and fastest roller coaster in the world.
