Antique cast iron  gate Post from the Deep SOUTH
Ornate,  Large heavy Cast  iron post that is tastefully designed, hard to find, and attractive VINTAGE ANTIQUE cast iron
SIZE: Approximately 5 feet tall by 7 inches  diameter and larger dimension at bottom of post
This one is  really heavy  and thick.
This post came from old Alabama homes and date back to the early 1900s or before. As you can see in the photos there is patina rusting but nothing out of character on such pieces. This handsome  old Post is great as is or they can be easily painted to match your style and décor.
What an elegant way to add an authentic Victorian flavor to your property.
The original collector of this fencing began collecting antiques, and antique architectural accesories from the many old homes that were torn down in Montgomery from the years 1935- 1970 and storing them in his warehouse with the intent of eventually building a home with them.
Due to  weight a pick up would be preferable.
