Antique Iron Scissor Expanding Store Front Gate, San Fransisco, Arcitectural Salvage. Gorgeous all original gate that protected an 1890’s - 1906 san Fransisco store entryway. Iron scissor expanding gate measures 59” tall and expands to 48” across. Marked SFBC. Post has a castor wheel so once gate is attached it can easily slide closed. Ornate iron and copper finial, layers of original paint. This makes for a Great Wall piece, room divider or garden gate. Folded shut it stands at 59” tall by 14” wide with about a 2” thickness. Heavy and solid, it was salvaged from wreckage of 1906 earthquake.
