    Description

    I just purchased this Mid-Century 1970's Colibri table cigarette lighter at a local estate here in Central Virginia. The vintage piece was created by Colibri by Kreisler, West Germany, and features a round black metal body with slot for lighter. An ornate silver plate overlay has an intricate design of winged angels and scrolls. The overlay and the lighter remove from the base so that the lighter fluid can be applied. The piece measures 3" high and 3" wide and is in good condition. There is some light wear on the bottom of the lighter and some rubs to the body under the overlay (can't be seen when overlay is in place). The silver plate has a vintage patina and has not been polished. I tested the lighter and got a spark. The lighter is marked as pictured "Colibri by Kreisler". A nice vintage lighter for the collector.
