Kodak Flexo Camera No. 2.
For the Kodak collector looking for the FLEXO camera in EX++ condition.
Made from 1899 – 1913.
Unusual camera where the sides and the back come completely off for film loading Used 101 roll film.
Leather hinges are in fair condition and not torn as the vast majority of cameras of this age are.
Use a leather preservative/softener
on occasion to keep the hinges and body leather from becoming dry.
Also when opening the camera use extreme care, these leather hinges are over 100 years old !!
Shutter works as it should.  See picture of the shutter open showing the lens
Has the original handle which is NOT torn.
Winding key goes up and down. My guess is a roll of 101 film makes it from doing this.
Finder mirror is worn as are the vast majority of cameras with viewing mirrors of this age but does show a rather dim image.
