    STIRRING ROD GRAPHITE FOR MIXING METAL WHILE MELTING

    This stirring rod is 3/4" in Diameter and is 24" long, for large volume mixing, used when melting large amounts of metal in the larger size crucibles.  Graphite rod is thicker and longer than the standard 12" rods, providing the user good strength and ease of mixing with its thickness and the additional length.  With this wider diameter the rod will last longer as well.
    Stir your precious metals, scrap metals, while melting. The carbon rod can be used when melting metals in Gas or Electric Melting Furnaces.
    Rod is used for stirring the molten metal in order to get a good homogenous mix of the alloys in Gold, Silver, Brass as well as other metals.
    Carbon stirring rods are made of High Density Fine Grain Graphite.
