Description
One used LeCroy WavePro 7300A 3GHz, 4 channel digital storage oscilloscope in good working and cosmetic condition. This unit has its PC portion upgraded without changing the motherboard - faster CPU, more RAM, SSD, quieter and higher flow system fans - several years ago and has been tested thoroughly. Cosmetically, the front panel is missing the vertical bar on the left side of the front panel controls and the bezel around the bottom has broken in two places and has been repaired - the repair has held with the gentle forces applied in normal use and I have done as much as possible in securing and protecting it for shipping, but it is not as durable as the original bezel. There are some marks on the right side of the unit from storage/moving, and the rear feet of the unit have been replaced with 3d printed feet matching the original design. The unit runs the latest XStream software version, runs XP SP3, and the RTC battery is fresh. This WavePro 7300A features:4 channels with a full 3GHz of bandwidth and a sample rate of 10 GS/s on all four or 20GS/s on up to two with a typical risetime of 150ps
24M Point per channel of memory (or 48M Point on two channels) because of the XL memory option
Up to 150,000 waveforms per second captured in sequence mode
2mV-2V per division scale (1M input), 2mV-1V per division input scale (50 ohm input), AC and DC coupling on 1M inputs and DC coupling on 50 ohm
Full speed triggering on all four inputs and external trigger input (2 divisions to 3GHz, 1 division to 2GHz)
Random Interleaved Sampling mode to capture like a sampling scope at an equivalent 200GS/s
XStream version 8 software with comprehensive analysis options and Windows XP operating system supporting onboard background operations and remote scope control
GPIB port card option
DDM2 (disk drive measurements package), JTA2 (jitter and timing analysis package), XDEV (advanced customization software package), and XMATH (advanced math software package) software options installed
The last three images are:
1. The aux output signal into every input channel with T connectors. This shows the varying length of the cable used between connectors and the step response from each node, like a TDR measurement
2. A DC to 6GHz sweep of channel one to characterize frequency response of the channel - on the desktop of the scope there is one of these captures for every input channel
3. A RIS capture (effective 200GS/s) of a modulated 3GHz RF signal and color grading
Additional screen captures are in a folder on the desktop of the instrument, including some testing with active probes and an RMS noise measurement on all channels, so that you can verify performance on arrival or for reference. You will receive the scope pictured, an IEC mains cable, and the front panel cover, none of the equipment in the background is included.
