Nice 4' quartersawn church pew/ 1906/ NYC "Queens" church/ delivery available B

This listing is for the
fantastic looking 4 ft wide antique church pew pictured.
It was used in the sanctuary of the St Johns United Methodist Church in the Queens district of New York City. The church was established in 1906 as a Lutheran Church in a neighborhood where many of the large German immigrant population who lived in the area could meet for worship.   After a number of years, the building was sold to the Methodist denomination. The church was closed down and the building was sold to a developer and is is scheduled for demolition. As mentioned, the pew is made of quarter sawn oak. The end panels are 38 1/2" high and the pew will extend out from the wall 24". The seat depth is 15" and is the seat height is 17" from the floor. The pew is very sturdy and can be placed anywhere in a room without fear of tipping over when in use.  It is offered at a BIN price of 5.
