    Description

BIN price includes 30 days guaranty (longer is available, read...)
Offered are 2 Tek 2465B scopes that have logged only 723 hours (s/n B053398, made in 1990), 734 hours (s/n B062053, made in 1992), respectively. First buyer gets 1st choice...
The Tek 2465B is a well designed 4 channel analog 400MHz bandwidth portable package, made from mid-1988 to mid-1996 that would be useful for decades to come. Costs only a tiny fraction of its  ,000 new price, yet for the foreseeable future, well maintained 2465Bs (last scopes Tek made to be component level repairable) by me and a few others, will still be serving their owners well, while many newer, less repairable scopes won't.
Will be shipped to you freshly calibrated, with instructions book pdf, power cord, and blue face filter (only at BIN price)... READY TO USE !.
Since the listing is for multiple 2465Bs, the photos might not all be of the specimen you'll get, but rest assured the 2465B I send you will be in excellent cosmetic & electrical shape. Most of my 2465B scopes (including those offered here) do not have GPIB option (hinted by 3 screentop LEDs in 1st photo; a digital interface is quite useless on analog scopes). Please be sure to indicate to me if you plan to use it in a 230V country.
First photo shows leading edge of a 1MHz square wave whose risetime (and that of the scope) reads about 0.98nS (would be 0.88nS if source risetime was instantaneous), consistent with the capability of a 400MHz scope. This is a far more stringent test than others showing a scope can display trace zero signal lines or 1KHz signals. 2nd photo shows response of scope to "autoscale+measure frequency" of a 1KHz signal from a time mark generator. 3rd photo shows result of asking scope to "autoscale & measure volts" of a 2Vpp signal. Note it tells you it goes positive from ground and that it spends more time on than off since the average is slighly more than 1V. 4th photo shows response to 2 equal amplitude signals one at 40MHz, the other 400MHz. Yes, the 400MHz looks slightly smaller, but by definition, on a 400MHz scope, 400MHz can be 30% smaller, which clearly it is not 30% smaller. 5th photo shows nothing adverse to report. 6th shows hours on the earliest serial # that already sold (the remaining units have hours in the 700s) . 7th shows cursers correctly measuring time. 8th shows dual time base in action with slower running at 1mS/cm and faster running 10X faster, and time difference between hihglighted zones measured correctly. 9th shows innards. 10th shows exterior view from bottom. 11th shows a scope on top of calibration sources needed to cal/verify such a scope; sellers who don't have such equipment are going out on a limb when they claim their scope functions correctly. 12th shows a P6137 probe you may want to buy from me first to then save 10% on the scope.
I choose to work on 2400s because they were the last repairable (to component level) scopes Tek made. 2400s are my specialty, so mine shall arrive working correctly, whether you're buying just 1 or several to outfit an entire lab or classroom. Others sell them because they need fixing, whether their sellers know it or not, I sell them after I've fixed them... and that is reflected in my higher prices (can't expect those selling for less to have had 20+ year old Li battery/NVRAM or any other failing parts replaced). Also, from me, you can get future scope questions answered expertly (instead of shoulder shrugs).
Please make sure Ebay has your current correct ship-to address before paying, as that is where I am required to ship. Mistakes are costly to fix after paying as I cannot offer cash refunds, so please go over details before paying.  I ship worldwide. Ebay requires I ship with a carrier that provides tracking & delivery confirmation, which Airmail cannot provide internationally, so that rules Airmail out. Ebay has its own Global Shipping Program that offers decent tracking and reasonable rates to many countries. To countries not in EGSP, FEDEX usually offers me the best alternatives.
Please do not offer less than BIN. I don't like pay cuts and Ebay already keeps about 13% of what you send. Offering less than BIN does not incentivize my best effort on your behalf, and understand that if you offer less than BIN, you will get a "lesser" (higher hours, or A instead of B).  I'd prefer you offer more to get more... such as... you can offer 0 more to get the 1 YEAR GUARANTY (my parts & labor, your shipping) though I realize for some of you far away, round trips to secure service could get expensive, which is why I leave the choice up to you. You can also offer 0 for a P6137 probe. If Ebay stops you from offering more (than BIN), I will still sell you what you want.
There are other accessories and options available (eg: frequency counter 6, tv sync 5), but please contact me for their pricing or view my other listings, or ask me.
Ebay as a large e-commerce site, now has to collect sales tax for many of the 50 States. I have no control over that, and I do not charge sales tax on my own out-of-California sales (I am small). If you are outside California and do not feel like paying a large tax, buy something cheap(er) from me first (eg: a probe) and a workaround will present itself. Also,  I cannot offer cash refunds (but only store credit) because of differing definitions of "full refund" between Ebay and its payment platforms. One considers full refund to be all you paid; the other considers full refund to be return of all I got. The difference is the fees, shipping, and sales tax that I never see, and I can't "go into the hole" for you to return more than what I got. Please buy prudently.
DISCOUNT on a 2nd item: If you pay BIN price, I will offer you a 10% DISCOUNT on next purchase. If you want the 10% discount on this item, buy a cheaper item from me first (eg: a P6137 probe as shown in last photo which I have listed for 0, or a top pouch which I have listed for ). This may also save you the state tax on the scope.
