Vintage Fishing Creel Fisherman's Wicker Basket No Hardware or Straps

Description

The creel is 18"  wide at the rear bottom.
The lid is 12 1/2" wide.
The creel is 11" front to back at the center.
The leather is hardened and ( i think it is leather)
needs some saddle soap.
Not cracked.
It has an 8' measure marked out on the back top of the lid.
It does open and close fine.
I took pictures  of a spot where the wicker looks worn on the bottom. No moisture or stains .
It has all the holes and slots for leather straps and  hardware.
It is sturdy.
