These post office box doors have a combination lock. According to my research, these doors are circa 1920’s - 1954, made from cast bronze and finished with lacquer. Purchased from an estate sale in Bridgeport, CT (historical home).
You are seeing the two (2) mailbox doors that I have available; 89 and 98; #149 has been sold. Again, please let me know which door(s) you would like when you order.
The pictures are in order, first the front of the door, the next picture is the side of the door & the third picture is of the back of the door.
Each door is solid cast Bronze with 1/4” glass. Each weighs approximately 1 pound 2 ounces and measures 3 5/8” x 5” on the face frame and extends back about 3/8” in width. Each door is already strung with fishing line to be hung on the wall.
