LCD backlight automatically comes on when remote is picked up and displays the indoor temperature, comfort temperature or timer, fan speed and fan status. Range is about 125' within a home.
Optional outdoor temperature sensor, Model TS3, can be used to delay whole house fan operation if the outdoor temperature is too warm to provide cooling.
Compatible with 1, 2 or 3-speed PSC or ECM whole house fans by QuietCool and Comfort Cool QA Deluxe.
The RT3K includes an RT3 Wireless Remote with two AAA batteries, RM3 radio module, FC3J Fan Control and a 7’ plug&play cable. The FC3J is wired and installed in the junction box on the whole house fan. The RM3 radio module connects to the FC3J using the plug&play cable. The RT3 Remote and RM3 Radio Module are prelinked and ready to go for a quick and simple installation. The number of fan speeds is easily set using the RT3 remote. Temperature control intelligently controls the whole house fan to optimize comfort and energy efficiency. Homeowner Peace of Mind - The RT3 includes a built-in safety timer that automatically turns the fan off the following morning in case the homeowner forgets. The safety timer defaults to 8 hours of operation and is adjustable from 4 to 12 hours. The RT3 is FCC certified and its unique addressing eliminates interference from neighboring installations.
